The two Crawler-transporters - these are specially tracked vehicles used to transport spacecraft from NASA's Vehicle Assembly Building along the Crawlerway to Launch Complex 39
The Crawlers were given pet names "Hans" and "Franz" and cost approximately14 million dollars each and became the largest self-powered land vehicles in the World
